My life’s work – helping animals

December 5, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

This relates to so many of us who have tried to help animals over the years.

As a licensed veterinarian, I’ve been in the field of animal protection for many years, and I still love coming to the office knowing I’m making a difference.

We’ve been busy this year at HSI UK defending badgers, protecting the EU ban on seal fur, promoting better protection for rhinos, elephants, sharks and many other species, and so much more. The cruelty and suffering I see in this line of work is sometimes hard to take, but I feel very proud knowing we’re helping to improve the lives of animals.

EOY ThermometerPlease join me, and watch our video for an inside look at HSI in action around the world. Then help us reach our goal by making a special gift today and support our lifesaving work.

I feel fortunate to be able to dedicate my life to this work. Animals around the world face suffering, neglect and abuse at the hands of humans, and I’m dedicated to making a difference.

I’m so incredibly grateful to be part of such a dedicated team — and that includes you — that’s changing the world one rescue, one law, and one policy at a time.

After you watch our heart-warming video, please make your special gift of whatever amount you can spare and help us continue our vital work today.
