Organic Communities Unite Quietly

Pesticides are those terrible chemicals that the big farmers use as a lazy way to keep away small bugs and weeds and much more on their farms. In the long run these things are bad…very bad.

When they use the pesticides they seep deeper into the ground and into water tables deep in the ground that lead to rivers that lead to lakes or the ocean. It’s a huge cycle that is constant and still going on. The pesticides kill fish and life in lakes and rivers because they are the closest normally and most susceptible.

This dietician gave a little insight on what to do when we go shopping at the local supermarket to make sure we avoid getting these pesticides in our body as much as possible. He shows us what PLU codes are the ones to avoid, and the ones to enjoy.
