Trophy mounts

November 8, 2014 Leave a comment Go to comments

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service posted notice today that they have received two request to bring back trophy mounts of the highly-endangered black rhinos. One from the high bidder in the auction referenced below, the other with an individual that paid the Nigerian government directly to kill a black rhino.

There are only 5,000 black rhinos left in the world and they need to be protected, not killed by wealthy trophy hunters.

We only have until December 8th to generate as much public opposition as possible. Please tell the FWS you don’t support killing in the name of conservation and to deny this import permit.
