Climate Paris

There has been lots of talks, lots of blah blah blah, and protests.
What annoys me the most is that these people, not all but some, go to these protests on planes. Some have good intentions but some have grossly misplaced and ill-informed attitudes.

Climate Change Activists Demonstrate On Wall Street

NEW YORK, NY – SEPTEMBER 22: Protesters calling for massive economic and political changes to curb the effects of global warming hold a sit in around the Wall Street Bull statue on Broadway on September 22, 2014 in New York City. Approximately 2,600 protesters participated; despite blocking traffic on numerous streets few arrests have taken place. (Photo by Andrew Burton/Getty Images)

They always want someone else to help the environment. Anyone but themselves. That really gets on my nerves as we can all do something. Do we really need to go abroad four times a year? If you are so against fuel pollution well one transatlantic journey pollutes enough emissions and contributes to greater voice and air polluting than running a 4 x 4 for its lifetime. People could also grow their own food, or buy local produce. Buying from your local farmer would be a start. Eating less meat or going vegan would be the ultimate sacrifice but also would benefit the environment the most.

I have lost a few friends from my Facebook due to comments like this. people always want their government to do something that they could really do themselves. So instead of going out to that protest. Make your voice heard by contributing more yourself.
