For more than a year, ExxonMobil and its friends in Congress have tried to bully the public into silence… and failed. Now, after Donald Trump’s election, and his nomination of ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson for secretary of state, the fossil fuel industry is ascending to new levels of power.
But Donald Trump’s election does not change the laws of physics—climate change is already having serious impacts on people around the world. We are prepared to watchdog the new administration for activities that undermine science, and to continue fending off threat after threat from the fossil fuel industry.
