The people’s climate march

The Union of Concerned Scientists is supporting the Peoples Climate March, a broad coalition of environmental justice, labor, faith, and other groups calling for immediate climate action. The march is only a few weeks away now, and even if you can’t join us in D.C. or at a sister march near you, it’s important to let your elected representatives know that climate action is a top priority for you. This is especially critical now, as they consider the Trump administration’s proposed budget, which would cut funding for programs critical to monitoring, slowing, and preparing for climate change. Currently, your legislators are on recess in their home districts listening to their constituents. Write today to tell your legislators why you support the Peoples Climate March and the critical importance of climate action.
